Michael joined Tractus in 2006 as the firm’s engineering and project management specialist. Currently, he is stationed in Rayong, Thailand, managing various projects across Southeast Asia including onsite visits overseeing day-to-day operations of plant construction. During his twenty plus years in project management in SE Asia, Michael has developed a specialization in engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) for the petrochemical, industrial and logistics industries. As Tractus’ project management specialist, Michael has had oversight of construction and engineering contracts for construction of mineral processing plants in Thailand and China worth more than US$25 million and construction management oversight for automotive parts facilities in Thailand and Nokia manufacturing facilities in India.
Prior to joining Tractus, Michael managed projects in Thailand (Star Refinery), Malaysia (Petronas Propane Dehydrogenation Plant), and Europe, including the supervision of the electrical installation work on the civil engineering feat of the twentieth century—the Channel Tunnel between England and France (Chunnel) and the installation of computer-controlled irrigation systems at Euro-Disney.
Michael attended the Highbury Technical College in Portsmouth, England, from which he received his Higher National Certificate in electrical engineering.
