In 1995, Tractus Asia opened its first office in Bangkok, Thailand as an Asia focused site-location strategy consultancy. Over the last 25 years, we have expanded both our geographic reach and service offerings in order to assist our clients in reaching their growth objectives in Asia. We have a team of 60 professionals in offices in China, India, Japan, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the USA.
Tractus Thailand Office remains our regional headquarters, and we currently have representative offices in an additional seven markets across the region with full-time staff in Shanghai, China – 1998, Chennai, India – 2008, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – 2007, Jakarta, Indonesia – 2012, Singapore – 2012, Yangon, Myanmar – 2013, Los Angeles, California, USA – 2017, and Osaka, Japan – 2020. Our project work has also brought us into markets from South Korea and Taiwan to Bangladesh and Sri Lanka where we have forged long-standing strategic partnership with leading firms advising investments into those markets.
Our early experience advising companies on the process to make the optimal site selection for their investment allowed us to identify other areas of business operations where Tractus could provide its knowledge and expertise adding value to an informed decision making process. The services we now offer under our Strategy & Execution service line for market entry include partner searches, market opportunity assessments, regulatory research and our Business Inc.ubator® providing strategy advice and implementation to meet the various needs of our clients from Fortune 500s to SMEs.
We have a developed a full Economic Development service line, leveraging our knowledge and experience to service as trade and FDI representatives for North American, European, and Asian focused Economic Development Organization and Investment Promotion Agencies.
Tractus also added its Corporate Finance Practice in 2010 bringing a team experienced in Asian focused transactions that can guide clients on buy and sell side opportunities across the globe.
