Tractus Managing Director John Evans Elected to AmCham Thailand Board of Governors

October 22, 2021; Bangkok, Thailand—Tractus Co-Founder and Managing Director John Evans has been elected to the Board of Governors of The American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand (AmCham Thailand) for 2022-2023.

AmCham Thailand has served the needs of its members and the U.S. business community since 1956 and for the past 25 years, John has been a proud and active member supporting its mission of “promoting shared economic prosperity between Thailand and the U.S.” He has seen the dedication and mutual support within Thailand’s American business community and the ways in which the Chamber has been instrumental to its success.

As a Board Governor, John brings his experience as an entrepreneur―running and growing Tractus Asia from an SME to a micro-multinational consultancy serving a large multinational base of companies in Thailand and across Asia. He will leverage his two-decades plus of experience advising both the private and public sector to work towards achieving AmCham Thailand’s and the U.S.’ joint initiatives for economic growth. John also contributes his experience serving on the Boards of non-profits including Princeton in Asia which offers fellowships in more than 20 Asian countries to foster cultural exchange for recent university graduates as well as Lutheran Partners in Global Ministry which provides educational support and programs to marginalized communities, focusing on women and girls in Asia, Africa and Latin America. As an AmCham Board Governor, John will continue his support of the  AmCham Thailand Foundation and its programs to promote the education of rural Thai students.

John looks forward to leveraging his in-depth Asia and Thailand experience to work with the rest of the Board to help AmCham achieve its goals for shared economic prosperity between Thailand and the United States.
