Presented by James Meisenheimer, Country Manager & Agro-Foods Sector Lead at Tractus Asia

Mr. Meisenheimer joined Tractus Asia as the Country Manager in Myanmar in 2017. Project-related experience in Myanmar focused largely on the agro-foods value chain from commodities, animal feed, animal husbandry, and consumer goods seeking entry into the market. During this time in Myanmar, he has advised companies in the Agro-Foods sector on market entry strategies assessing regulatory frameworks and designing effective Asia market entry strategies be they site-location strategies, partner searches or Inc.ubator.

The extensive experience Mr. Meisenheimer gained advising Myanmar strategies in the Agro-Foods sector saw him transition into an APAC-wide role leading projects for our clients across markets and staying current on market trends across the diverse region in 2019. In the period since taking the Agro-Foods Sector Lead position, he has carried out site-location strategies, regulatory analysis, and market feasibility studies across multiple markets in APAC. A primary focus of the projects has been in the plant-based sector but also includes experience in meat, dairy, grains, and packaged goods.
