Business Research Analyst, Thailand

Our services are provided by teams of professionals in three complementary practice areas: Strategy & Execution, Corporate Finance and Economic Development.

Our Strategy & Execution practice team works with companies to develop and execute their Greenfield expansion strategies from initial market opportunity and business case assessments; to location strategy and site selection; real estate and investment incentives negotiations and managing the construction and start-up of commercial operations. Our Corporate Finance practice provides advisory services as well as buy-side and sell-side private banking for clients undertaking M&A and identifying, vetting and negotiating joint ventures. We advise governments and multi-lateral organizations on how to develop strategies for attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) and promoting trade through our Economic Development practice. 

Tractus is seeking a Business Research Analyst to join our dynamic team and contribute to high-impact consulting engagements across Asia. In this role, you will work closely with our Strategy & Execution, Corporate Finance, and Economic Development practice areas, collaborating with professionals from diverse backgrounds, including engineering, sciences, finance, operations, geographic analysis, and applied economics. You will have the opportunity to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams, supporting leading Fortune 500 and 1000 companies in their strategic market expansion initiatives across Asian markets. Under the guidance of Directors and Consulting Managers, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering critical components of consulting projects that drive business growth and success for our clients.

  • Support the Consulting team and coordinate with team leaders on project and business development-related tasks.
  • Prepare presentations on market or sector overview.
  • Work as part of project/client engagement team undertaking secondary and primary research
  • Organizing and analyzing findings to ensure that strategic analysis and tactical commercial advice are appropriate, credible, and accurate
  • Able to pursue needed information via phone interview, if necessary
  • Able to work well under pressure and be flexible in working time
  • Able to travel domestically and abroad
  • Thai or any nationalities with strong Mandarin and English skills is a must (both written and oral)
  • More than 2 years of working experience in various industries with good knowledge of research analysis or management consulting business
  • A master’s degree in economics, finance, or business from either Thailand or an overseas university is a plus
  • Previous international travel, work, or education experience is favorably considered
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and proven ability to complete tasks on schedule
